WAX TWILIGHT
NO VACANCY
blurry satellite idle
hot dry air on your naked legs
in the shadows your eyes
drift hot and tender
your anger sharp as a shiv
beneath our atrocity fields
flutter memories
like fresh crystalline snowfall
pure and cut right
boxes of black and whites
sepia in the drawn open
hideaway lights
toes on the radio knob
and a cigarette from
cinnamon lips
shift the crooked hip
never healing from the crash
the metal plates
and skin graphs
the motor sleeps
grumbling
water on chinese
wire cardboard take
out and pamphlets
food banks
and welfare start up
cheap saturation perfume
stress and sweat
a sweetness this old
wreck holds
like a moving room
full of sunlight
and faded hope
leaning behind the wheel
staring beyond the lights
of town
suffused soft and faded
drifts
upon drifts
melting on the safety
tint
we are options
on dealer titles
our lives flickering
like archive neon
we need a dream
wrapped in paper
milled like a hot
shower bar
to wash away
the filth
wash away the wings
wash away the
weariness

Sublime poetry... I absolutely love that ending its perfect... and as usual you give more stunning lines than I care to count...you are really in the zone with this poem...you took me there

I've always had problems
expressing my deep admiration for your work in any sort of lucid meaningful terms.
Perhaps by just expressing it.

ta! I would say I'm speechless

watching.....................................
the twilight of the feathery love dance is a futile propitiation to fetish love abashed by constant sexuality

Maybe it's better to stay completely within
as fire hides in metal
as water hides in rock.

florrid vascular echo
a needle etching titles
like a dream subduing ghost sighs
the spiral in its trance
the speaker throat
vibratto
carrion wisps arriving
in motorcar flurry
night flowing like a dark rich river
en ember burns
enamoured in bitter flavor
words parted
and falling out
each window
a destiny
blind ignorant
and waiting
this precious life
animated
as a sheet in
the hopeful winds
sometimes snatched
by the storms
and dashed in the
soil
clenched in the
cold that drums
but hope is the sunshine
and peace in each
strand weave
falling softly from a
steetlight
diffuse and demure
from moonlight
hope like an angels
hand
on the tears of the broken
hearted.....
