Peace Versus War

Peace may be the opposite of war
Children of love playing,
Among body parts blood spraying
From the beginning of time
Is it yours or mine, it’s so fine
I want it all give me some more
Pimping my war fighting till death
The filthy grimy war whore.

War and peace good and bad
Wrinkled faced grandmothers crying, so sad.
The cold-blooded killer is always here.
The outcome is always bittersweet,
A bloody fight is always near.

Peace and war the endless struggle,
Till we find time for a moments snuggle.
If life were all peace, it would be such a bore,
Yet instead we always look to settle a score.

I find a flippancy in your poem that seems to mock peace and war in turn. there is also a kind of wisdom in your words... something like that war protest song...cant remember the title, but some of the words were: "Don' ask me cause I don't give a damn. Next stop is Viet Nam..." by Country Joe and the Fish. I much like your poem!
