My dear friend, why do you think I live in a bungalow.
In my stupidity I put floor boards in the attic, and stored a lot of stuff up there in that other planet.
A land of bric-a-brac home to the odd creature that needs a place to go in the Winter LOL, great little piece Take care,Yours Ian.T

I felt the weight of the six silver buttons
And another one by a Norwegian poet- the gist of it anyhow :-
It was
when I felt the weight
of the six silver buttons
on my knitted jacket
as I went up the stairs
that I realised I was old.
Oh its beautifully expressed in the Telemark dialect and I haven't done it justice, but you get the idea Stan?
Luckily Erik and I walk every day and go fast through the woods brandishing our Nordic walking sticks, its a bit like skiing, some kindergarten children even said, look they have forgotten their skis! Erik is 87 and that's good going, no aches and pains in his knees or hips. We consider ourselves lucky. Wish I could stop your pain, everyone's pain.
Ann.
