I Looked at the Sky Today
I looked at the sky today
and you came into mind,
I wondered if we were
one pretending to be two
or if we were two moving
towards each other like
sunrise to the moon.
Like love.

"Like Love"
Dear Kailashana I would
in my opinion of a read as you finish
this work with "like" twinned
I would want to add for me
anyway in my mind's read
"as Love"
for some reason that just came
to me from inside my thinking here
on a hot summer day
Im tired and Ive got errands to run
and I just popped in here to my library
to write this and to check up on the stream
and found your work
Just my notation for today
will be on later tonight when I get the
computer and all is quiet
the walk with the dog around the hood
and home
Neopoet
where my life rests
at times
its peaceful works
the poets words
Thank You

If anyone but you wrote this
I would call it trite.
Since you did I call it a moment of vulnerability and am touched.
cheers,
Jess
