affliction
sauve translation
the neon tube fire
burning like an oracle
this affection
I watch transfixed
your slender cold hands
upon my chest
your breath through
my dress shirt
how many lives
have I lived
you once asked
how many tommorows
have you seen
and you smiled
"I have seen them all"

An old hand!
No I meant not that.
This intimacy I know of,
it is so simple and beautiful a communication,
when the mind is perfectly at rest,
it doesn't wish to be asked such questions,
but here they were asked;
and we still feel the intimacy of worth.
Love to you Steven from Ann.
"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

light speed
conversion
from steam era to oil
stammer in recoil
the hesitant lust
propells
and the wake froths
like a cold tonic
beneath the hot bulb illumination
I wait
in a room darkened to a tombs likeness
the walled labrynth
the peaceful bumps in the night
only when time gives notion to reflect
can one tell how close
how close anyone came
