Something Special
I've always wanted to be known
as the girl who was always laughing.
Someone carefree and whimsical.
A voice that can make you float to the clouds
and lay there next to her
not worrying of how much time has passed
and spending forever
telling stories and dancing through the sky
because nothing else mattered.
A girl with a smile that told a story
that would inspire and refresh you.
Her presence made the air feel lighter
and the night sky glow.
She made your day brighter
with a simple tune she hummed to herself
and you caught yourself singing along
and you didn't want to stop.
But to have happiness like that,
I think, could never be possible
and that girl could never exist
except in my mind's eye
and in the poems I write.
But even to her as a work of fiction
is better than not at all.
And for that,
I can never stop writing her.

I smile as i know the feeling
I smile as i know the feeling in, through, underneath,
its spring that of the step out into the daytime sunshine,
its wish to remain in the euphoria it brings,
and why not,
this is not insuperable,
its all a question of attitude,
this I have found out,
one's attitude to life permeates all
and even goes towards the healing of ills,
mental or physical.
Lovely thoughts come with this poem,
you take her with you wherever you go,
she will help you see when tears blur your sight,
that's what this says to me AnnaNJ.
LoveAnn.
"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.
