LETTER TO MY EX (Random challenge#17)
I found you joyfully in my heart
that you're my elegant queen,
in your presence I adored you,
in your absence I extolled you.
but now you've indignantly left,
living a solitary life without me,
you were in a hurry to have me,
yet, I advised you not to do so.
still, you declined furiously with
anger and facial muscle tensed,
even when dear friends pleaded,
you turned your back in refusal.
since you have decided to go,
let the sun have it's full rest and,
after all, my days are still young,
if I don't get happiness let it be.
despite everything my life first,
whether girl friend or not I'm
the most essential and needed.
my life is so precious I can't miss!
whenever my fullness of time
comes, a real love shall find me,
in my closet I shall be prayerful,
thanking God for His goodness.
you've done crossed the rubicon,
and I can't force you to reverse it,
your freedom is your freedom,
I can't tether it nor rip it!
you've decided to be on your way,
remain resolute and unswerving,
and never let sense of humour
become a thing of the past.

dear Onyinechi
I hope this is just something you wrote for the challenge, and not real history. it is a sad tale, the woman you write about is hard-hearted and cruel. but it is a very good tale.

Truth!
you've done crossed the rubicon,
and I can't force you to reverse it,
your freedom is your freedom,
I can't tether it nor rip it!
A testament to letting go,
Tim
